Chavez Jr got the win, Duddy got a heart


John Duddy lost


The people who watched the fight saw a very good toe to toe fight as both fighter exchange blow round after round. Chavez Jr who recently had been training with the Freddie Roach did a good job as he won the fight via unanimous decision.

Although the fight was not  as Freddie Roach want it to be, his pupil still show some improvement. Chavez Jr backs down Duddy round after round but Duddy never surrender and most often return back with his own combination but it was never enough to stop Chavez.




In the end Chavez Jr. overwhelmed Duddy and took the unanimous decision win, the fighter from Ireland was was wobbly at some point but stood still and continued to fight until the very end.

Duddy got a heart but Chavez Jr got the win.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs. His opponent, Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9 KOs), came in slightly lighter at 125.4 lbs. They will contest a 10-round main event. Leo is a former WBO super-bantamweight champion.
