After returning to the Philippines, seeing the condition of MMA fighters being underpaid and mistreated, he started Underground Battle Mixed Martial Arts Championship. Having 12 shows in a short span of two years and raisin the pay of amateur fighters and giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills. After gaining some international attention, Ferdie Munsayac went on to attract attention of bigger promotions, thus leading to the the history partnership with World Series Of Fighting Global Championship.
With the successful UGB MMA 13 Foreign Invasion, Ferdie Munsayac hit the hearts of foreign fighters as well.
