One man, One Mission, Ferdinand Munsayac

Throughout his life, Ferdinand Munsayac has always embraced one virtue, 'Giving Back and Service '. In his time in his younger days he contributed to the US Navy and was also at one point a Chief of The US Navy.

After returning to the Philippines, seeing the condition of MMA fighters being underpaid and mistreated, he started Underground Battle Mixed Martial Arts Championship. Having 12 shows in a short span of two years and raisin the pay of amateur fighters and giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills. After gaining some international attention, Ferdie Munsayac went on to attract attention of bigger promotions, thus leading to the the history partnership with World Series Of Fighting Global Championship.

With the successful UGB MMA 13 Foreign Invasion, Ferdie Munsayac hit the hearts of foreign fighters as well. Ahmed Mujtaba, the new UGB MMA Featherweight Champion said, ' Papa Goat (Mr Munsayac)  is just like a father to me and all the other fighters. He respects us and unlike other shows there is no such such thing as hierarchy. Where the CEO is an untouchable, or a man of higher stature. All of us fighters look at Mr Munsayac as a father or elder brother. Long Live Papa Goat and UGB MMA Championship! '. Mr Munsayac's colleague, the match maker at UGB MMA Championship, Faizan Fayaz mentioned,' This man is essentially the God father of Mixed Martial Arts in the Philippines. Goes out of his way to give the fighters and fans a good show. Unlike other CEOs who are considered to be purely businessmen, Ferdie Munsayac is a man who the fans know as a friend and always keeps the crowd engaged. With great stories of his past to tell Mr. Munsayac is a friend to us all and a blessing in disguise to Filipino MMA '.

With UGB MMA Championship growing faster by the day. The region will one day realise how far this man is raising the level of fighters in the country by having them compete against foreign fighters. His quote' Para Sa Fighters Dahil Sa Fighters ' will be what other promoters would soon follow.
