Filipino's first love is basketball. Many of us regardless of  height dreams of playing professional basketball, but unfortunately, it's not for everyone.

All around the Philippines, local community basketball leagues have sprouted everywhere to give opportunities to basketball players and enthusiasts of all forms to showcase their skills.

The ever growing popularity of basketball is  a testament of how Filipinos truly love the sports.

For years, many have created basketball leagues but only a few stood out from the crowd. This year LGR, one of the country's biggest sports brand is set to open the biggest and the most exciting local basketball league in Manila.

With just weeks after the announcements, inquiries have started pouring in and with the support of Nike and other companies. LGR Hoops is set to become the most prestigious local amateur basketball league in the Philippines.

The League is slated to have their opening ceremony at the Filoil Flying V Arena where it will be attended not just by players but by guest celebrities. The event will also be covered by TV5 and other news media organizations.  Details are below.
