United Champions Carnival (XI) A Festival of Fights on Feb 20!

United Cup XI is underway. The Champions Carnival.

With 3 Philippines Championship up for grabs. The Welterweight Championship.Vacant Flyweight Championship and Female Flyweight Championship, this event will be a festival of champions and will certainly be making history.

Ardin Diale “The Jackal” will be defending his OPBF Flyweight title against Jonathan Francisco. This will be a tough defense for Ardin and with his rigorous training and diligent focus, I think it will take a very hard opponent to beat him. Jonathan Francsico will try to derail the streak of Diale  but The Jackal will do his best to contonue his quest for a world title.

Richard Claveras will also be defending his WBC International Light Flyweight Title against Jonathan Refugio a 12 round battle for the pair. Richard is in very hard undisclosed training right now. He is trying to improve speed and footwork.  Richard Claveras wants another shot at the World title in the future and his next fight is a stepping stone that would open the road for another world title.

Rene Dacquel will be returning to the ring after his unfortunate loss by decision in Japan for the Super Flyweight OPBF Title against Takuma Naoya the younger brother of the current Super Flyweight Champion Naoya Inoue.
Still the IBO International Champion, Rene Dacquel is looking for other possibilities for 2016.

Japanese fighter Masazumi Furukawa will be back at this event. Determined to win, he is training in vigorous conditions in order to prove he can come back a winner.

New to the card is United’s Shin Ishikawa. The Super Welterweight is fighting his debut fight in the Philippines. Ex MMA fighter and former boxing sparring partners for ex Japan champions, Shin has turned his skills in to the boxing ring. Good luck to everyone on the day.
