Adrien Broner loses WBA title on the scales; Theopane makes weight






Adrien Broner (31-2.23KO's) failed to make weight earlier for his fight against Ashley Theopane
(39-6-1,11 KO's) tomorrow on Premiere Boxing Champions on Spike TV at DC Armory in Washington DC.

Broner weighs 140.4 lbs. almost a half pound over the limit but decided not to drain himself for the 140 lbs. limit. The WBA authorities has been strip WBA "Super" World Jr Welterweight title from Broner and announced as a vacant title.Theopane still have chance to win the belt because he makes weight and receives $50,000 cash penalty from Broner for being 0.4 lbs. overweight.
