Unfortunately, veteran point guard L.A. Tenorio and energetic and hustle player Calvin Abueva didn't make the cut. Tenorio is the smallest guard in the lineup (5'7) and Abueva is too small for his position in international basketball (6'2). Gilas will surely miss the veteran presence of Tenorio and hustle plays of Abueva in the court. Coach Tab Balwin settled for a big and shooter lineup.
