Marlon Tapales-Takuma Inoue confirmed!




Earlier we reported that Marlon Tapales is close to make a deal to fight British Paul Butler but it turns out that Marlon Tapales will make a defense of his WBO Bantamweight world title against Japanese youngster Takuma Inoue the younger brother of WBO Superflyweight world champ Naoya Inoue.

20 year-old Takuma Inoue is came off a hard fought unanimous decision win over tough and former world rated Filipino Froilan Saludar yesterday (Sept 4th) in Kanagawa Japan. He was dropped in 1st round but scored knockdowns himself in 8th and 9th round to retain his unblemished record and get a crack to Tapales' world title.

Takuma Inoue who has a record of  8 wins no defeat with 2 KOs. He is a natural superflyweight fighter and will move up in bantamweight to face Tapales.

Tapales won the WBO bantamweight crown over the former champion Thailand's Puangluang Sor Singyu on July 27 in Ayutthaya Thailand.

The fight is scheduled on December 30th at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo Japan.
