Another good day for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel faithfuls as their favorite team tackled their way into tying the series with 2 wins a piece after being down by 0-2.

Star Hotshots who struggled in game 3 which caused them the game due to the excellent Ginebra defense finds their way back in the losing column after being outscored by the Barangay Ginebra squad led by Jervy Cruz.

Cruz scored a total of 21 points, recorded as his season high coming off the bench to fill the spot of Joe Devance who saw limited minutes but provided quality looks and also contributed 4 points despite the current injury he's nursing. This loss of the Hotshots can also be attributed to foul trouble as they had 4 players nursing 4 to 5 fouls including Mark Barroca who fouled out with only 4 points on the board.

Defense was the key to the Ginebra's campaign in the conference and in this series holding off the Star hotshots from getting open looks also limiting them to get attempts inside the paint with their double team and help defense.

Barangay Ginebra will be seeing action again this coming Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena to try and get their third straight win to lead the series at 3-1 while Star Hotshots will be back on the drawing boards to prepare for this rematch and increase their chances of shaking the Ginebra defense off to get the same goal as Ginebra.
