Highlights: PBA All-Star Mindanao and Gilas Pilipinas Ends the Game in a Weird Tie, 114 all

It was a tightly contested match up in the first game of PBA All-Star week at Xavier University Gymnasium in Cagayan de Oro.

Gilas Pilipinas and All-Star Mindanao ended the first quarter with 24 points. It was PJ Simon who scored the first point of the match.

Troy Rosario however, led the All-Star team in the first quarter while Terrence Romeo from Gilas contributed most of the team's point.

In the second quarter, Gilas heats up  early and took over the lead 34-31 courtesy of Matthew Wrights' back to back points. Pogoy with the offensive board wows the crowd as he hangs in the air for a putback.

Rosario pulls up for a tripple off the glass shots and bring back the lead to Mindanao 59-55 in the end of first half.

Romeo attacks and scores quickly to start the second half while Tolomia took over his business and bring Gilas' biggest lead 81-74, with 3:48 seconds left in the 3rd quarter.

Carl Bryan Cruz throws some power shots and made huge deficit against Mindanao, 91-79.

The third quarter ended with 93-86 score in favor of Gilas.

All-Star Mindanao continous to trim off deficit by 5, 90-95 early in 4th quarter. Gilas on the other hand, bounce back with an 8-0 run, 103-95 lead with 5:46 seconds left in the clock.

Fajardo with a one-hander clutch, scores 114-111. Mark Barroca boost his commendable play and scores a three point shot and  ties the game at 114 all.

As Romeo missed the shot and Mindanao screwed the chance also in the overtime, the first game of the PBA All-Star week ends with a tie, 114 all.

Troy Rosario of Team Mindanao with 28 points and Matthew Wright of Team Gilas with 22 points hailed as co' MVPS of 2017 PBA All-Star CDO leg.

The PBA All-Star Luzon game will be on April 28 in Quezon Convention Center, Lucena City.
