Julius Indongo schooled Ricky Burns; Became Unified Jr Welterweight champ!

Namibia's Julius "Blue Machine" Indongo (22-0,11) schooled the former 3 division world champion Ricky Burns (41-6-1,14) to unify the IBO , WBA and IBF Jr Welterweight world titles earlier in Glasgow Scotland. 

34 year-old Indongo was the aggressor most of the rounds while Burns was trying to counter and throw some combination but Indongo still had the edge in action in the first half of the fight. In 6th round Burns was trying to get more aggressive and it seems that the sixth round was the best round for Burns. In the 7th Burns was pushing the action but the tricky southpaw Indongo was accurate in his counter punches. In the 8th round Indongo hurts Burns in early minute of the round and it look likes that Namibian boxer wants to finish the fight but Burns was on his bicycle to avoid the stoppage. Burns was down twice in the 12th and final round but the referee ruled it as slip. In the end of fight Indongo was declared as the clear winner, scores were 120-108, 118-110, 116-112.
