Chicago Bulls have been mentioned as a potential landing spot for D'Angelo Russell.
Lakers know a franchise player when they see them but unfortunately, they may not see it in D'Angelo Russell as there had been many trade talks involving him. Obviously, the Lakers was one of the worst teams last year. Being the second team at the bottom above Phoenix Suns and winning only 26 games is not something to be proud of.
But there is always a bright side as they have slowly built young and exciting talents such as Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, Brandon Ingram and definitely D'Angelo Russell.
Russel, however, may fall off from the roster as it has been rumored that they would want to build around Brandon Ingram as the cornerstone of the team.
With the impending arrival or potential draft selection of Lonzo Ball, the Lakers are surely poised to make another move in the offseason that can either make or break them.
Should they trade D'Angelo Russell for Jimmy Butler?
