Watch: Behold Manu Ginobili Crowd Reactions from Different Angles
Have we seen (or have we not) the last of Manu Ginobili?
We may be prematurely saying goodbye to Manu. The guy has not announced his retirement officially just yet.
In any case, fans at San Antonio are not taking any chances and making sure that they let the 39 year old and the 1999 NBA 57th pick overall draft knows how they appreciate the 15 years of service to the Spurs franchise.
Wait, from 1999 to 2017? That's 18 years. For some that doesn't know, while he was drafted in 1999, he did not play in the NBA right away, instead he returned to Italy to play for Kinder Bologna, which he helped win the 2001 Italian League Championship, the 2001 and 2002 Italian Cups, and the 2001 EuroLeague where he was named the Euroleague 2000–2001 EuroLeague Finals MVP.
He was also named the Italian League MVP in 2000–2001 and 2001–2002, and made the Italian League's All-Star Game three times during this period. (thanks to wiki)
