Taguchi and Kyoguchi Victorious in Their Respective World Title Fights!

Ota City General Gymnasium, Tokyo Japan - Watanabe boxers were both victorious on their respective world title fights earlier.

In co-feature bout Ryoichi Taguchi (26-2-2,12) marked sixth defense of his WBA light flyweight world title after he stopped Columbia's Robert Barrera (18-2,12) in 9th round. In main event former OPBF Minimumweight world champion Hiroto Kyoguchi (8-0,6) acquired the IBF Minimumweight world title in his 8th fight when he outscored the former champion Mexican Jose Argumedo (20-4-1,12) . Three judges came up with 116-111, 116-111, 115-112 all in favor of Japanese boxer.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs. His opponent, Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9 KOs), came in slightly lighter at 125.4 lbs. They will contest a 10-round main event. Leo is a former WBO super-bantamweight champion.
