Musikaramay: 3x3 Para sa Marawi Basketball Tournament

Music and Basketball joined forces for charity

The month of October marks our 4th year anniversary. Musikaramay or "musika na nakikiramay" is a community of people in the music industry wanting to be real life superheroes through music. 

Also known as “busking for a cause”, Musikaramay goes around the metro setting up in public places to play for their chosen beneficiary. In 4 years, they have raised funds for the ff:
• Yolanda Survivors in Palo, Leyte
• Rehabilition for Zamboanga Children
• SAF 44
• Kids with cancer at the National Children’s Hospital
• Raincoats, boots and umbrella donations to indigenous kids in Subic

As of the moment, we have 20 scholars at the Blessed Ville Special School in Cavite which came from donations during their performances in the streets of Manila.

In celebration, Musikaramay will be staging the Musikaramay Basketball: 3x3 Para sa Marawi, a FIBA-endorsed Basketball League powered by Triple Threat Manila.

Nov 6, 2017, 8am to 6pm at the Cuneta Astrodome, 28 teams. 112 players. 7 hours of community basketball uniting different personalities from the music industry, will raise funds for our internally displaced brothers and sisters in Marawi through the help of Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc.

As these musicians have exemplified in their willingness to help by donating 1000php each, we too can make a difference in our society. Our own efforts will come a long way as long as our hearts are in the right place.

We would like to invite you to come, watch and join the cause. Instead of the traditional ticket selling, you will make a difference by giving 50php donation fee, and 2 canned goods.
