Ginebra Let go of Joe Devance, Now a Free Agent and can sign with Other Teams


What should Joe Devance do now?

While we were a bit surprised of the move, we also think that this will also be temporary and that we would see Joe Devance back in the line up in the second conference.

The 35-year-old Joe Devance and the first overall pick in 2007 has played very well under coach Tim Cone and during those times the duo has produced a total of 8 championships dating back when the two was with Star Hotshots.


Times are changing for Ginebra

Ginebra in the past years has made a lot of big moves and through the years it has changed faces. Joe Devance was instrumental in the championship run of Ginebra and while he is not exactly at his prime anymore, his skills and size are hard to come by in the PBA.  Other teams can surely lure him as most of the teams needed size in their frontcourt.

The absence of Joe Devance will give more opportunities to Raymond Aguilar and Jarvy Cruz.
