Prelude to LeBron James and Paul George to Lakers, Here's How it's Going Down
The Cleveland Cavaliers made a sudden and drastic change in the line up that probably took the NBA world by surprise as they let go half of their roster including newly acquired Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder.
Cavaliers suddenly felt the itch of pulling the trigger now and making sure they make moves before LeBron James make his move come offseason.
Rumors that LeBron James and Paul George will team up in Los Angeles Lakers
Always exciting to hear these kinds of news especially if your team is on the receiving side of the better end of the deal. While Cleveland seems to be cramming for answers, the Lakers seem to be smoothly positioning themselves for the big offseason ahead.
Isaiah Thomas has a $ 6.3 million and Channing Frye has a $7.3 million both expiring and by taking these players the Lakers would be able to free up at least $50 million salary cap space which may be enough to lure the king to Hollywood.
Within the existing players, there are also expiring contract such as that of Julis Randle which can also further help the cap space to stretch up to $ 70 million.
