Green Lantern is Ryan Reynolds!

Is it not that Ryan Reynolds already played a role of a Super Hero? Remember X-Men Origins: Wolverine? He played the role of Deadpool and do you already know that Ryan Reynolds will be taking the same role again in 2011.

Deadpool a Marvel Comics super hero will be having its own self titled movie next year and Ryan will be staring it, so why would he take the role of another superhero character from the rival comics( DC comics), aside from the money?

I think I was asking the wrong question, what I should really ask is why Marvel Comics allowed Ryan Reynold to play a DC Character when he is already schedule to play Deadpool in 2011, Isn't there anything called franchise actor or something. I am not really sure what I am saying but Pierce Brosnan is James Bond, Hugh Jackman is Wolverine, Robert Downey Jr.is Ironman you get what I am saying. Its hard to imagine seeing Hugh Jackman playing the role of the Hulk, right?

I guess Deadpool is not that popular to the general public and that is why Reynolds can play other hero character. He is not exclusive so if director and producers want to get him to act out other role like the flash, Hanibal King or other, he can.
