Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Francisco Vargas fight preview and prediction

Where are you watching Lopez vs Vargas live?

In my head, I think JuanMa Lopez is still a global boxing superstar, this guy have 34 wins and 3 losses, and 31 of his win are coming from KOs, that is an impressive knockout win ratio from the 31 years old boxer from Puerto Rico. His losses came from Orlando Salido and Mikey Garcia both a Mexican descent, both defeated him by knockout, Salido doing so twice.

JuanMa Lopez was exposed by these two fighters and his boxing credibility took some damaged and now he is fighting to stay relevant and to prove that he is one alpha dog in boxing.

His opponent, Francisco Vargas only fought 20 times and won 19 of them, with no loss and 1 draw and knocked out 13 of his opponents. While it looks like an excellent record, it is actually not as impressive if you look closer. Vargas have never faced anyone with the caliber of Lopez, most of his opponents have less than 10 or 20 fights, with the exemption of Ira Terry who have 36 fights under his belt but have lost 8 of his 10 fights before fighting Vargas.

We are not taking away anything from this guy but Vargas is in for a whole lot of trouble tomorrow night in Las Vegas. Vargas is 2 inches taller so look for him to stay away and fight from the outside, we are predicting that the smaller but more powerful JuanMa Lopez to engage and make this fight a slugfest.

I think this would end in a knockout in favor of JuanMa Lopez. I hope it does but let us not forget that all of the defeats of JuanMa is coming from knockouts too, still I highly doubt it. Francisco Vargas is untested against top-caliber fighters and like what I have said, this guy will kiss the canvas in before the 7th round.

Okay, I almost forgot Vargas have never lost so if he is able to take the punches well from JuanMa it might go further but either way I am picking JuanMa to knockout Francisco Vargas but then again JuanMa's chin may not be the same. It could be Vargas time.

Who is your pick?
