Photos: Wedding Proposal at an MMA event, Fighter won and got a yes in the same ring!

Henry Kobayashi's Balikatan13 " Pathway to Greatness"  promises great match-ups and an action packed fights. Saturday, October 24 at the Hybrid Yaw-yan Gym. Fighters and fans alike converged to witness the 13th edition of the Balikatan MMA Event.

Balikatan 13 featured match-ups from amateurs, and pro-am fighters, and while there are a lot of interesting match-ups, everyone was anticipating the main event, and it is definitely for the right reason. Dubbed as the Super Mega Fight, Yaw-Yan Kampilan Fighter Ricswartz Sibal fought Cabanatuan City’s Savage MMA Titanic Fighter Ronn Merchadesch in a battle of skills.

The fight between the two didn't end up in a knockout or a stoppage, but both of them showed how skilled they are inside the ring. They fought a calculated fight, respecting each other's skills and ensured that they defended themselves against  each other,s offensive attacks. After three rounds of back and forth action, the fight had to be decided with the help of the judges.

After deliberation by the judges, the win was awarded to Yaw-Yan Kampilan Fighter Ricswartz Sibal, he won via unanimous decision, but the fight wasn't over, there is another mission to complete for Ricswartz. With the help of his friends, he wasted no time and executed things as planned.

During the awarding ceremony, Ricswartz Sibal  called his girlfriend inside the ring to join her in accepting his victory medal. People asked the girlfriend to raise  the hand Ricswartz Sibal for a photo but something went terribly wrong, then suddenly, Ricswartz fell down in severe pain holding his arm, and cringing in pain in the middle of the ring. Everyone started wondering what was happening. Was he injured?

Maria Angelica had no clue what was about to happen and she grew worried and confused at the same time.  She immediately went down to help, but after a few seconds, her boyfriend suddenly became well, and knelt down with a ring on his hands.

It was a surprise wedding proposal!

Ricswartz Sibal decided he would  pop the question in an unusual fashion. All sweaty, tired and bruised while still in wearing his fight gear. He wanted to make this a memorable night.

Like his fight, he must have been preparing for this moment for a long time and won via decision getting a yes from his girlfriend. This guy sure got two wins in one night!
