Byron Rojas pulls off huge stunner as he upsets Hekkie Budler

Nicaraguan Byron Rojas (16-2-3,8KO's) pulls off huge stunner as he upsets formerly unified champion Hekkie Buddler (29-2,9KO's) in Budler's own soil, South Africa via Unanimous Decision (115-113 on all 3 cards) to claim the "WBA" Super and IBO World minimumweight straps.

The Nicaraguan proved to be very strong for Hekkie Buddler as Rojas beat the taller Buddler most of the rounds. Rojas controlled the center of the ring, scored big and clearer punches. Buddler tried to come back in championship rounds but fired up Rojas wanted the action more. Rojas lined himself with the current Nicaraguan World champions including Roman Gonzalez and Luis Concepcion.
