Talk 'N Text to Parade Former Piston Jason Maxiell for Governors' Cup

The Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters will bring former Detroit Piston's big man Jason Maxiell for the coming governors' cup. Known for his defensive skills and rebounding, the ten year NBA veteran had a recent stint with the Tianjin Ronggang in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) where he averaged 19 points, 11.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 34 games.

The 26th overall pick of the 2005 NBA draft averaged 5.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in his ten year stint in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic and Charlotte Hornets.

He is expected to bring energy and much needed presence in the paint for the Tropang Texters with his power, defensive skills and rebounding. Last month, the Tropang Texters were reportedly shopping the 2015 1st overall pick Mo Tautuaa for a legit big man.
