Former IBF flyweight world champion Thailand's Amnat Ruenroeng won his first bout at 60 kg (lightweight) against Germany's Arthur Bril Monday at an Olympic qualifying tournament in Vargas, Venezuela. Three judges scored were 28:29 all. Ruenroeng will next face Italian Carmines Tommasome in his next bout.
36 year-old Ruenroeng lost his IBF title and pro undefeated record last May when Filipino Johnriel Casimero stopped him in 4th round. It's still a shock that Ruenroeng who fight as 112 lbs (flyweight) in professional is now fighting as lightweight in olmypic qualifier.
