Former world champ Thai wants a showdown against Casimero




Former WBA interim flyweight champion Yodmongkol Vor Saengtahaep/Sirichai Thaiyen  (40-3,26) wants a title showdown against newly crowned IBF Flyweight world champion Filipino Johnriel "Cuadro Alas" Casimero (22-3,14)

The Thai Sirichai Thaiyen is currently the PABA flyweight champion and currently rated no.2 in World Boxing Association (WBA). He is riding on 6 fight stoppages wins since his last defeat against Juan Carlos Reveco Argentina. Thaiyen also had plenty of Filipino victims in his record like Edison Berwela, Donny Mabao and Roilo Golez.

Johriel Casimero is a two division world champion winning IBF world titles in Jr. flyweight and flyweight division. The purposed bout could be his first title defense after his latest victory over another Thai Amnat Ruenroeng on May 25th in Beijing China. Ruenroeng outboxed Casimero in first three rounds but was caught by a short  right hook dropped Ruenroeng heavily after the first knockdown Casimero chased the Thai to finally landed a left hook to the body. Ruenroeng was badly hurt and the referee Tony Weeks waive it off. Casimero took away Amnat's undefeated record and IBF world title.
