New York Knicks Signs Brandon Jennings in Bargain Deal
The New York Knicks is one of the biggest winner of the off season, trading for Derrick Rose, Signing Joakim Noah and Courtney Lee and now adding depth in point guard position after agreeing to terms with Brandon Jennings in a bargain deal. The deal were reported to be a one-year, $5 million deal.
Jennings, the 10th overall pick of the 2009 NBA draft, spent much of the season being a back up point guard with both the Pistons and Magic. He averaged 6.9 points, 2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in just 18 minutes of action per game.
Jennings will provide the scoring off the bench for the Knicks and will be an insurance of Derrick Rose in case the former MVP back to the sideline again due to an injury.
