Marc Pingris was born in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan. Drafted by FedEx Express with the 3rd overall pick in 2004 PBA Draft but was quickly traded to Purefoods TJ Hotdogs. He was an 8x PBA Champion, 2x PBA Finals MVP and selected as one of the PBA's 40 greatest player.
