Unknown July 14, 2016 0 Comments

Puangluang Sor Singyu's mandatory title defense against Filipino Marlon Tapales slips to July 27th from July 22 due to lack of sponsors and fight venue but today it was finalized for July 27th and will be held at the Ayutthaya Park Ayutthaya in Thailand.

Sor Singyu (52-3-0, 35KO) of Thailand, first won the WBO bantamweight title in 2012 by defeating AJ Banal but he lost it in his first defense against Paulus Ambunda of Namibia. Sor Singyu reclaimed the title after knocking out Ryo Akaho of Japan on Aug. 7, 2015 and successfully defended it against Filipino Jetro Pabustan on Feb. 12 this year Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

Tapales (28-2-0, 11KO) dubbed as the "Nightmare" earned the title shot after  he stopped Japanese Shoshei Omorii in the second round of their WBO title eliminator fight  at the Shimazu Arena in Kyoto on Dec. 16, 2015
