Filipino Renoel Pael failed to seek a revenge to Japanese fighters when Suguru Muranaka outpointed him Friday night in Tokyo, Japan. His defeat against Muranaka was his 3rd consecutive losses the last were held in Japan. The judges scores were all in favor for world rated boxer Suguru Muranaka 74-79, 78-74, 78-74.
Pael came to fight and looking to upset the Japanese but Munaka is not bothered by Pael's power and continued to pressure the Filipino fighter. Pael landed some good and clear hooks but clearly beaten by the Muranaka.
Before the fight Muranaka stated that he will retire if he lose to Filipino but it seems that he will continue his run for the world title shot.
