What You May Have Missed From the Kobe Bryant Tour Last Week!

Day 1, Last June 25, 2016- The Manila leg of the Mamba Mentality Tour 2016 began today, as Kobe inspired Filipinos with his philosophy of chasing perfection in every aspect of life, on and off court.

His day kicked off at Nike Run Club, dropped by the Ususan Covered Court in Taguig City, inviting teams to Mamba Mentality Night that evening.

At the Mamba Mentality Night held at SMART Araneta Coliseum, over 9,210 fans of the Black Mamba turned up and lit up the iconic stadium and paid tribute to the Black Mamba’s career.

Over 30 top runners from the Nike Run Club were surprised by Kobe Bryant after they finished a 10K run; he “welcomed” them with more intense training and physical challenges as part of his Mamba Mentality approach.



Kobe Bryant visited Ususan Covered Court in Taguig City, dropping off golden basketballs and inviting the teams to join him for the Mamba Mentality Night show that evening.

Speaking to the media this morning, he spoke about the origins of Mamba Mentality and the principles he wants to inspire young athletes to live by.







Sending virtual well wishes all the way to the Gilas, who are in Italy training before the Olympic Qualifying tournament.




Making an entrance at the Mamba Mentality Night, a tribute show to 20 years of the Black Mamba held at SMART Araneta Coliseum.
