Conley Agreed to Five-Year, $153 Million Deal With Grizzlies, Making Him the Highest Paid Player in NBA History
Mike Conley will stay as a member of Memphis Grizzlies next season. After the signing of Chandler Parsons to the Grizzlies in a four-year, $94 million deal, the Grizzlies goes all in to make Conley stay in Memphis after both parties reportedly agreed on a five-year $153 million deal, making him the highest paid player in NBA history for now.
Conley was reportedly heading to either Texas teams namely San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks, but the offer of the Grizzlies is hard to refuse considering the amount of money they are offering to Conley.
Conley has averaged 15.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game last season. Conley has missed a total of 47 games in the last three seasons of NBA and hasn't played in the 2016 NBA playoffs making him a gamble to sign.
