TNT stuns Meralco in game 1 of the semi-final round




TNT Katropa gave Meralco a taste of their strength as they bag the first win in the best of five series in the season ending conference semi final round. The hot shooting TNT proves their statistics being the number one in the league and getting the top seed in the elimination round.

Meralco Bolts somehow found away to make it a close game during the first few quarters but eventually collapsed during the 2nd half. Durham and Alapag tried to get the first W in this series but fell shorthanded caused by Madanly, the Asian Import of TNT.

It is obvious that this TNT team this conference is one of the toughest contenders having only lost a game. With its loaded roster filled with shooters such as Larry Fonacier, De Ocampo and their two deadly reinforcements. Game 2 of this series will be on Thursday where Meralco will try to lay their revenge and prolong the series to force a game 4 and get another finals appearance.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs.
