Youth Sports Advocacy Philippines, Inc. (YSA) is a non-profit organization that uses sports to make the youth become better individuals. YSA is composed of individuals with burning passion and desire to share their skills and knowledge about sports to the youth. YSA holds free sports training sessions to the youth, one community at a time. YSA believes that the longer the youth play sports, the greater attachment they have to their community. Aside from the positive effects of sports in their health, their interpersonal skills also improve through socialization thus making them better individuals.
Activities
Training Sessions – YSA gives free training sessions in volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, flag football, net ball, table tennis, wrestling, touch rugby, track and field, lawn tennis, and fencing to children ages 4-17 years old.
Mini Olympics – These are friendly games that serve as healthy competitions among the children that promotes teamwork, camaraderie and discipline. These are usually held after several training sessions in the community.
