FC Köln 3-0 Hamburger SV

Anthony Modeste the league's top goal scorer continued his great form in front of the goal when he added another three goals to his name to extend his lead in the goal scoring table. The first big event of the game happened in the 40th minute when Köln was awarded with the penalty after the Hamburg defender brought down Osako in the box. Modeste took the penalty but his efforts hit the bar, and the halftime ended 0-0. Another incident occurred this time in the 58th minute when Bobby Wood of Hamburg shown a red card to give Köln a man advantage with 33 minutes left. And it didnt took long before they made the numerical advantage count as Modeste scored his first goal of the game in the 61st minute he pushed the cross in the box to make it 1-0. In the 82nd minute he scored his side second goal of the game to remove any hope of a comeback for their oppnents when he headed down the cross of Marcel Risse. Modeste completed his hat-trick 4 minutes later when he tucked in the ball between the legs of the keeper to end the game 3-0. Hamburg defeat means that their worst start in the Bundesliga after this many games continues.

Hoffenheim 1-0 Hertha Berlin

Both teams were aware how big the match as they were hoping to stay in touch of the top 2 teams in the league table. Both teams had excellent chance to put their side on top in the early minutes of the game. However it only took Niklas Sule's header goal in the 31st minute to separate the two sides after 90 minutes. Hoffenheim win puts them in the 3rd of the table while Hertha slips to 5th and Köln replacing them in 4th place. Hoffenheim win also means that they are one of the three remaining teams in the league that are undefeated after 9 games the other two are the top two teams in the league Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.
