Bundesliga: Leipzig and Bayern remained unbeaten, Leverkusen bounced back, Ruhr derby ends goalless

Darmstadt 98 0-2 RB Leipzig

The dream run continues for the Bundesliga first timers Leipzig as they maintained their unbeaten start to the season. The goals didn't arrived until the 57th minute when Werner made a beautiful cross in to box which resulted to Sabitzer with an easy goal in the box to make it 1-0. The match was sealed in favor of Leipzig when Sabitzer scored his second goal of the game in the 81st minute after once again an easy goal in the box because of the an another beautiful cross in the box. Darmstadt failed to bounce back in the league after suffering a huge upset against Astoria Walldorf in the German Cup just a couple of days ago. Leipzig win however ensure that they continue the pressure to the current leaders Bayern Munich on top of the table.

Augsburg 1-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich and Augsburg face each other once again after playing one another in the German Cup last Thursday. Robert Lewandowski finally broke his goal scoring drought this season when he scored the first goal of the game in the 19th minute after a great assist by Arjen Robben to give Bayern a 1-0 lead. Just two minutes later in the 21st minute Lewandowski returns the favor to Robben when he scored from a great pass inside the box to double the lead of his team. Then in the 48th minute the two players were involved again after Robben took the terrible pass made by the Augsburg defense in the back, then made the through ball pass to Lewandowski who go around the keeper to score his second of the game and the Bavarians third goal. But in the 67th minute Augsburg scored a consolation goal after a great assist inside the box to Ja-Cheol Koo who scored the consolation goal for his team. 

Wolfsburg 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen are eager to bounce back in the Bundesliga after being embarrassed by Sportfreunde Lotte in the German Cup in which Lotte who plays in the 4th tier of German league pyramid knocks out Leverkusen after the penalties. However in just the 37th minute the nightmare continues for them as Maximillian Arnold scored the goal for Wolfsburg to make it 1-0. The scored remained that way until the 79th minute when Admir Mehmedi scored a goal to make it 1-1 after a glorious low cross by Henrichs. The comeback win was completed just 4 minutes later Tin Jedvaj arrived first on the loose ball inside the ball to score the winning goal for his team.

Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Schalke 04

The Ruhr derby ended in a disappointing goalless draw after both teams couldn't find a way to score past their opponents keeper. Kolasinac came close for Schalke in the 49th minute after a great counter attack was saved by the Dortmund keeper.The best chance of the game came in the 53rd minute when Dembele's shot hit the crossbar. Dortmund was once again close on getting the winning goal in the 73rd minute when Mario Gotze close range shot was saved by the Schalke goalkeeper. In the 74th minute another great chance for the home side when Dembele through ball pass finds Aubameyang which his cross beat the keeper however Pulisic wasn't able to put the ball in the back of the net when Kolasinac made a very important tackle to keep the scoreline goalless.
