The dream run continues for Leipzig when they beat Wolfsburg in their home at Volkswagen Arena, Leipzig who just been founded 7 years ago thanks to their sponsor Red Bull started their history at the lower leagues of German football, they started their journey in the 5th level of the German football league pyramid system. After a defeat and a draw in their last 2 league outings Mainz returned to winning ways against Darmstadt 98. Pablo De Blasis scored for Mainz after just 5 minutes. Yunus Malli doubled the home side lead when he scored in the 56th minute. Jerome Gondorf scored for Darmstadt 98 in the 90th minute to bring back his side in to the match, but it was just a little too late as Mainz held on to win.
