Southampton and Watford registered wins

Southampton 3-1 Burnley

Southampton impressive win last night means that they are now unbeaten for the last 4 games in the Premier League which saw them climbed the table from the bottom half of the table to 8th position. Charlie Austin opened the Scoring in the 52nd minute. Nathan Redmond scored a fantastic goal just 8 minutes later. Then in the span of 6 minutes 2 penalties were given by the referee. The first one was scored by Austin for his second goal of the game in the 66th minute. Then in the 72nd minute Sam Vokes scored a penalty of his own for Burnley to rekindle the hopes of a comeback, but it proved to be just a mere consolation as Southampton hold on to a 3-1 victory.

Middlesbrough 0-1 Watford

Jose Holebas goal in the 54th minute was the only thing that separates the two sides after 90 minutes. This result for Middlesbrough means that they are now winless in the Premier League for the last 6 game weeks as they now found themselves in the 17th position in the table which is now only 1 above of the relegation spots.
