It was just a month ago after the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel won their first championship in eight years and the PBA already opened it's 42nd season. Let us examine how each team did in the offseason.

GRADE: B-

The Alaska Aces didn't make any move this offseason other than drafting Gilas 5 member, Carl Bryan Cruz, whom they put at reserves.

They were focus on building team chemistry and harmony as they try to make a revenge against defending champions San Miguel Beermen in whom they suffered back to back defeat in the Philippine cup championship.

But still, the Aces were lacking of a big man that they can match up with three straight MVP awardee June Mar Fajardo.

LA Tenorio Excited for Next Generation Basketball League to Elevate Filipino High School Talent

Philippine basketball icon LA Tenorio believes the Next Generation Basketball League (NGBL) will help today's high school players become the country's future superstars. Before becoming the PBA’s 'Iron Man,' an eight-time champion, a four-time Finals MVP, and a Gilas Pilipinas standout, Tenorio honed his skills with the San Beda Red Cubs under legendary coach Ato Badolato. As the NGBL’s Tournament Director, Tenorio wants current high school stars to have a platform to showcase their skills beyond the existing junior leagues. “We promise exposure for high school players.
