2016 PBA Offseason Grades: Alaska Aces


It was just a month ago after the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel won their first championship in eight years and the PBA already opened it's 42nd season. Let us examine how each team did in the offseason.


ALAKA ACES




Players in: 

Players out: Eric Menk, Sam Eman, Josh Vanlandingham 

Drafted Players: Carl Bryan Cruz

GRADE: B-

The Alaska Aces didn't make any move this offseason other than drafting Gilas 5 member, Carl Bryan Cruz, whom they put at reserves. 

They were focus on building team chemistry and harmony as they try to make a revenge against defending champions San Miguel Beermen in whom they suffered back to back defeat in the Philippine cup championship. 

But still, the Aces were lacking of a big man that they can match up with three straight MVP awardee June Mar Fajardo.
