Cavaliers in the NBA and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the PBA both got their titles after years of drought. But these title droughts are nothing compared to how long the Baseball Team Chicago Cubs waited to bag a title in the world series.

After 108 years, the longest recorded title drought in the history in all North American Sports, the Cubs finally got a grasp on the World Series title after winning in the game 7 championship against the Cleveland Indians after getting a solitary lead at 8-7 in the 10th inning.

The Indians made three runs in the 8th inning of the game 7 that includes two-out and two-strike and a two-run thunderbolt of a home run.

This might be the longest known title drought in the history of the Sports World. Supporting behind them are the Chicago Cubs fans who waited for a long time for their team to finally be World Champions again. So you think your team had enough of the long wait before having a Championship trophy?
