RB Leipzig 2-1 FC Schalke 04

The Bundesliga debutants Leipzig continue to show Germany and the world that with everyone can challenge for a league title at any given year. Schalke on the other hand after struggling in the start of the season, were finally back to the schalke of old when they enter the back with seven league game unbeaten run. The match however already was brought to life in the first minute when Timo Werner was brought down inside the box to give Leipzig a penalty which Werner slots in with confidence sending the keeper the opposite way.  In the 31st minute the Royal Blues were back in it when Kolasinac scored the equalizer when he reacted first on the rebound of the saved shot by Goretzka which rolled away from the keeper allowing Kolasinac to score. However in the 46th minute Kolasinac turned from hero to zero as he scored an own goal from a Leipzig free kick which he headed in the direction of the goal to give Leipzig the winning goal. The win sent Leipzig back on top of the Bundesliga table three points ahead of Bayern Munich.

Mainz 05 1-3 Bayern Munich

The early game of matchday 13 saw a crucial game for Bayern Munich as they are chasing RB Leipzig on top, and they are attempting to go on top of the table before Leipzig play Schalke. However after just 4 minutes Bayern were already behind thanks to a goal by Jhon Cordoba who got first on the beautiful through ball, then shoots it past Neuer to make it 1-0 for Mainz. Munich quickly equalized in the 8th minute after a swift counter attack which Lewandowski scored in the end to make it 1-1 from a great Arjen Robben assist. In the 21st minute it was Robben's time to score when he headed in the cross from Thomas Muller to put Bayern up 2-1. Then in the 90th minute Lewandowski extinguished any chance of a comeback for Mainz when he scored a superb free kick to make it 3-1. The win of Bayern Munich saw them go top on table after their game, however their stay on top didnt even last a day as Leipzig won their match against Schalke to return to top of the table.

Borussia Dortmund 4-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

The battle of the two Borussia sides, the name "Borussia" is latin for Prussia, Prussia was a former kingdom in Germany. Monchengladbach find themselves in front already after just 6 minutes when Raffael scored a fantastic goal outside the box to make it 1-0 for them. However their joy was cut short as just a minute later in the 7th minute, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalized for Dortmund. Then a corner by Dembele in the 15th minute was headed in by Lukasz Piszczek to put Dortmund on top 2-1. Ousmane Dembele this time scored a goal in the 64th minute for Dortmund from a nice assist by Marco Reus to make it 3-1. Then in the 68th minute Aubameyang scored the last goal of the game to make a 4-1 win for his team from a great back-heel pass by Reus.
