During his prime years, Peter Aguilar is one of the big men in his era to have a great shooting touch in that big man category and Tim Cone has no doubt on his son's capability to hit those long and mid range shots.

"You remember I also coach Peter, and Peter is one of  the best shooting big man I've seen". Cone stressed in the post-game interview at the Philippine Arena.

Japeth who used to bank those threes in clutch plays in the past rarely uses his shooting touches from beyond the arc each game, but this Manila Clasico showdown, he went flawless from the three point area which is unusual for himself as well.

"Japeth has great form and great ability to be that kind of player that can shoot shots like that like his dad." Cone Said.

"Im not surprised by it and hopefully we don't live by it." the most winningest coach said that this development can be used in the future but they will not depend on it but will remain as one of their weapons along the way.

"Scottie got to the boards a lot, Japeth was awesome tonight on the offensive side and even defensively, we've been encouraging him to shoot threes and he hit threes tonight." Cone expressed how proud he is on how Aguilar utilized his shooting ability by making 5 out of his 5 attempts from beyond the arc.
