After another loss, Ginebra to get back on track to fight for playoff spot.

Another heart-breaking loss has been witnessed by thousands of PBA fans of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel after blowing a huge lead against their sister franchise San Miguel Beermen.

Ginebra dominated the scoreboard during the first part of their showdown last January 8 at the Araneta Coliseum lead by their big man Japeth Aguilar who had an amazing outing against Star Hotshots during their Manila Clasico showdown last Christmas day.


The most popular ball club lost their composure and eventually lost their lead and ended up adding another loss in their record at 3-4. With 4 more games in their schedule during this elimination round, they have to win atleast 3 of these games to be able to have a chance to crack a spot in the playoff phase.


In this conference's format, the bottom 4 teams will automatically be eliminated while the top seeds will get a twice to beat advantage. Ginebra coach Tim Cone once said that it's the momentum that they need to be able to get that rhythm. Playing after one or two weeks is not healthy for the team as they usually play only during Sundays.

The next games of this ballclub will be crucial for the team to try get that rhythm going and get another chance to win a title.
