Video: Players Emotional Tribute to Paul Pierce

Do you want to know the truth?

Paul Pierce had a wonderful 19 year NBA career that stretches from playing with the Celtics, the Nets, Wizards and The Clippers.  His time with the Boston Celtics was certainly the most memorable one as he created a legacy and dedicated more than a decade of his basketball career to the city of Boston. Pierce together with Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett had an amazing run in 2008 when the Celtics claimed another championship with his leadership on the court.

The 39-year-old 1998 10th pick overall from Kansas College had a great season in the NBA and game 7 against the Utah Jazz in the 2017 1st round playoff game will sadly be his last NBA game.

As a Celtic fan, I was emotional to see Paul Pierce finally wave goodbye to the sport. He was one of the best that ever played the game and the truth is, he will truly be missed by his fans.

He did not leave without etching his name in the record books. Before watching the tribute video, check out Paul Pierce's career highlights and awards.
