Zou Shiming Cuts Ties with Top Rank, Set to Defend Title on July 28!


China's lone professional boxing world champion Zou Shiming has not renewed his contract with Top Rank Promotions. The boxing promotion who promoted him in all of his fight since turning professional in 2013. The same goes for his corner men that includes Freddie Roach and Justin Fortune who will not be on his side when he defends his title. Zou Shiming has decided to do his own promotion and will promote himself in his title defense on  July 18. 

Three Time Olympic Medalist and the current WBO Flyweight world champion Zou Shiming (9-1,2) will defend his title against Japanese Sho Kimura (14-1-2,7) at Shanghai Sports Center in Shanghai China.
