Bangkok, Thailand — November 29, 2025 — The World Boxing Council (WBC) and the WBC Asian Boxing Council (WBC Asia) proudly announce their full support for the upcoming Highland Boxing Gala: WBC Night of Champions, set to take place at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Organized by Highland Boxing Promotions under the leadership of Mr. Brico Santig and Mr. Supanat Chanram, this premier event will serve as an official supporting show for the 63rd Annual WBC Convention, kicking off a week that celebrates the global unity, passion, and excellence of the sport of boxing.

A Prestigious Night of Championship Action

The Highland Boxing Gala will feature three thrilling WBC Asia title fights, bringing together top talents from across the region:

  • WBC Asia Continental Super Middleweight Title
    Elliot Matthews (United Kingdom) vs. Ahmad Samir Dawrani (Afghanistan)

  • WBC Asia Continental Welterweight Title
    Reymart Soledad (Philippines) vs. Apinun Khongsang (Thailand)

  • WBC Asia Youth Super Lightweight Title
    Blair Geraghty (Ireland) vs. Suphachoti Phobai (Thailand)

Each bout will be sanctioned by the World Boxing Council, with all ring officials appointed by WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman and supported by WBC Asia President Major General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, ensuring that the event upholds the highest standards of professionalism and fairness.
