The Zuffa Boxing Snub: Why Dana White Was Left Off the Fury vs. Joshua Contract

Powcast Media Team October 02, 2026 0 Comments

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn secured a promotional development behind the scenes of the December 11 Cardiff heavyweight mega-fight. Official legal contracts finalized on Thursday confirm that Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing has been omitted from promotional paperwork.

The bout contract filed with the British Boxing Board of Control lists Matchroom Boxing, Queensberry Promotions, and Saudi-backed Sela as the official co-promoters for the Principality Stadium event. White, who had engaged in early discussions to co-promote the clash, was left on the sidelines following disagreements over television distribution rights. Fury’s promoter Frank Warren indicated that streamlining promotional voices was critical to meeting production deadlines with Netflix. White is not expected to participate in the upcoming press tour dates.
