Roach Endorses JuanMa – Marquez for Sept. 18!

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (August 6, 2010) – In an election year endorsements count and one of boxing’s most-respected voices, four-time Boxing Writers Association of America “Trainer of the Year” World-Famous Freddie Roach, spoke up on which fight he’ll be watching on Saturday, September 18 – the World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight title rumble between two-division world champions Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez and Rafael Marquez. The Lopez vs. Marquez world title tilt will be televised live on SHOWTIME Championship Boxing from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Lopez and Marquez, the pride of Puerto Rico and México, respectively, boast a combined record of 68-5 with an astounding 61 knockouts – a winning percentage of 93% and a victory by knockout ratio of 90%.
