SACRAMENTO KINGS SABONIS AND FORMER WNBA PLAYER JACKSON
TO HEADLINE NBA RISING STARS INVITATIONAL IN SINGAPORE |
Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis and WNBA legend Lauren Jackson are coming to Singapore! They’ll headline the first-ever NBA Rising Stars Invitational, a new basketball event featuring the top high school boys and girls teams from 11 Asia-Pacific countries—including the Philippines!
The five-day tournament will happen from June 25 to 29 at Kallang Tennis Hub. NBA stars Ryan Dunn, Oso Ighodaro (Phoenix Suns), and Japan’s Keisei Tominaga will also be there, along with NBA legend Yao Ming, who’ll appear during the Opening Ceremony on June 25.
The event isn’t just about basketball. There’ll be live performances featuring the Laker Girls and the Miami Heat mascot Burnie, plus off-court activities, skills clinics, and cultural exchanges.
Representing the Philippines? It’s National University Nazareth School (boys & girls teams)! 🇵🇭 They earned their spot through local qualifiers organized by the NBA.
