Air 21 tried their best to keep up against the Alaska Aces in their elimination game of the PBA Governors Cup at the San Juan Arena (June 26) but could not catch up against the sharp shooting Aces. Although import Bangura of Air 21 had a stellar night at 20 points it was not enough to keep the avenging the Alaska Aces from getting the victory. The Alaska aces back to back win is credited to the team good shooting percentage and the fourth quarter rally of Cyrus Baguio who scored the team high at 19 points. Alaska Aces now goes up in ranking with 2 wins and 2 loss while the Air 21 still having a hard time to breath suffering their fourth loss with no win at last place.
