Petron eyes NBA vet Nick Fazekas as import

A Former second round draft pick by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2007 NBA draft who has had stints in the European league is set to reinforce Petron Blaze in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup slated to start on Feb. 10 next year. A report by the Reno Gazette Journal said 6-foot-11 Nick Fazekas, 31, who plays for the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League, has opted to suit up with the Boosters, lured by the promise of higher pay, housing, and other come-ons, including the presence of many American restaurants in the country.
