Highlights of Smart Gilas vs Iran at the 2012 Jones Cup

This perhaps was one of the most critical game of the tournament. A game versus Iran put them on the top spot of the Ranking and surely because of that, they have a lot of respect from other teams in the Jones Cup. No one else in the tournament was able to beat the reigning and the powerhouse team of Iran. The game between Smart Gilas vs Iran was a mixture of the team focus, determination and a bit of luck. It's a win but they were lucky most especially during the last few minutes of the last quarter.  A win is a win and Smart Gilas was able to accomplished that that day.   The Philippines is gearing up to welcome Southeast Asia's trail running elites as it prepares to host the prestigious Southeast Asian Trail Running Cup in the locale of Bontoc, Mountain Province, from June 19-23, 2024. Tin Ferrera, secretary-general of Philtra and Head for the Southeast Asian Trail Running Confederation, expressed her excitement about bringing the biennial competition to the country.  "We, as Philtra, and our athletes have joined the World Mountain Trail Running Championships and other big events outside the region and across Asia and we believe it’s time we show what we have.
