Japeth Aguilar is famous in the Philippines for having a superb athleticism and being a part of the National Squad, representing the Philippines in different basketball tournament around the world. He is one of the top notched talent in the PBA.

But the NBA is different, Japeth Aguilar has been working hard, attending different basketball clinics and try outs for the NBA D League,  his dream of becoming the first pure Filipino Basketball player to ever play in the NBA is still  up there and being drafted in the NBA D League gives him a closer chance of being notice by an NBA team.

Japeth Aguilar is included on the full List of 2012 Draft-Eligible Players in NBA Development League, The draft is today November 2. 16 teams will choose from 263 players. What do you think of Japeth Aguilar's chance?

Japeth Aguilar got one step closer to fulfilling his dream of becoming the first Filipino in the NBA after being selected in the seventh round with the 13th pick by the NBA Development League's Santa Cruz Warriors, Friday (Saturday, PHL time).

Philippines to Host SEA Trail Running Cup, Elevates Bid to Become Asian Trail Running Destination

  The Philippines is gearing up to welcome Southeast Asia's trail running elites as it prepares to host the prestigious Southeast Asian Trail Running Cup in the locale of Bontoc, Mountain Province, from June 19-23, 2024. Tin Ferrera, secretary-general of Philtra and Head for the Southeast Asian Trail Running Confederation, expressed her excitement about bringing the biennial competition to the country.  "We, as Philtra, and our athletes have joined the World Mountain Trail Running Championships and other big events outside the region and across Asia and we believe it’s time we show what we have. That’s why we are grateful to SEATRC for choosing our country as host,” she said.
